Audio Recording/Editing/Conversions

Audacity® is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems. We use it for our video narratives and voice overs. Audacity

Blogging Platforms

Non-Commercial WordPress (Open Source) is successful and risen from a handful of users to the most-used blog tool in its category. Free platform, easy-to-use, database, FTP, plug ins and more. Wordpress.com Judy’s blog runs on Wordpress.com

Use as a stand alone site or incorporating a blog into your Website. Easy install. Many commercial themes available. Free Commercial blogging platform from Google. Can add advertising, affiliate links, etc. Blogger.com One of my blogs runs there.

Photo Editing

Software from Google for Windows XP/Vista. I love the straightening tool! It also provides a terrific photo viewer on your computer. (Free) Picasa 3.

Movie Making

Windows Movie Maker is sitting on your Windows XP/Vista computer right now. I started out with this slide show and movie editing program. It is still a basic charmer! Go to Programs.

Make videos on line at Animote.com Free, but if you want without their advertising plug for business, you need to subscribe. (Note: I have not used this service but recommended by an associate.)
