My New 2012-13 LinkedIn Profile Self Evaluation Form
I had to change my evaluation form after the general December, 2012 updates to LinkedIn profiles. The order sections appear were changed with new emphasis. Some are ‘anchored’ or fixed positions and there are reasons for this. We have new capabilities such as easy editing, expanded drag and drop functionality, adding Rich Media Files, which replaced the third party applications. (I particularly miss Amazon Reading Lists.)

So here is my new form: My New 2012-13 LinkedIn Profile Self Evaluation Form which is free for you to download (Needs an Adobe Reader).
LinkedIn’s guidelines for a 100% complete profile comprise the first seven criteria. I personally think the additional four more are also important. There is a possible top score of 110, of which 100 would actually be exceptional (based on a recent sampling of workshop attendees I did where the average and median scores were both between 40- and 45)!
The supplemental 7 criteria take into account some subtleties and other important areas to embellish one’s profile as well as increase networking opportunities in my judgment.
As a general bribe factor (call it my loss lead or inducement), if you write a LinkedIn recommendation (I must accept it) or endorse me (both have to be legitimate, not faked), I will complete the top part of the evaluation for your LinkedIn profile so you can compare your grade with mine.
Want one-to-one LinkedIn coaching, including tactics and strategies? Sorry, no freebies here, but you can contact me or call 847-634-6535 to discuss how I may be of assistance.
Or check out one of my LinkedIn programs on the Calendar page.
I am also available to talk to groups, businesses and organization on a number of LinkedIn topics, from setting up your profile, LinkedIn for Business, Using LinkedIn Company Pages, Using LinkedIn Group Discussion to Grow Your Business, etc.
